White Crocodile Queen (1988)

From schlockmeister H. Tjut Djalil (Mystics in Bali) comes another delirious dish of absurd proportions. In this one the evil poacher Sumarna kills the guardian of the crocodile people Murta and steals the stone with which the crocodiles are controlled. He uses it to lure them out from the lake and shoot them so he can sell their hides. But before dying Murta places a curse on Sumarna; he and his family will die in twenty years time! Flash forward and the White Crocodile Queen takes possession of her twin sister to exact bloody revenge. What can one find in this film? Let us see; plenty of gore, generous nudity, rubber crocodiles, a surreal music video, a man being urinated on, cheesy slapstick comedy, impressive mustaches, a woman giving birth to a crocodile, Islamic mysticism, awkward child corpse crotch grabbing, and so much more. It may not be as disturbing and gorey as Mystics in Bali, but I promise that it is just as much fun and just as ridiculous. And there are moments of surprising beauty and transcendence here. Definitely a great way to get into the spirit of the Halloween season!
