I have to admit, after watching the trailer for Oculus, I was intrigued. Part of me was really hoping this was going to be good old fashioned, atmosphere-driven horror, but another part of me, the part that was correct, knew it would just be more dreary trash. And dreary trash it is. Guess who the villain is. If you guessed the decomposing corpse of an evil old lady, why you would be right! As I said in my previous entry regarding Sinister, the fact that this was produced by the same guy who produced Paranormal Activity and Insidious should be warning enough. Nothing more I have to say regarding this film.
